Keeping your billing details current helps your payouts process without any disruption. You may be notified if something needs updating, but it's also a good habit to check in every so often, especially after anything changes in your business.
Why keeping your billing details updated matters
Your payment provider use your billing details to process your payouts, so it helps to keep them accurate. If something's incomplete, expired, or out of date, it can cause a short delay while waiting for information to be updated.
Common reasons you might need to update your details include:
You've changed bank accounts or payment method
Your business address or company name has changed
A card has expired or been replaced
Legislative changes mean your details need re-verifying
We've let you know something's missing
We recommend reviewing your details periodically, even if you haven't received a notification.
How to update your billing details
Log in to your account
Go to Settings
Select Billing
Click Edit Your Billing Details
Review all fields and update anything that has changed
Save your changes
You should see a confirmation message once your details have been saved successfully.
How often should I check my billing details?
There's no set requirement, but we recommend reviewing your billing details:
At least once a month
Any time your payment or business information changes
If you receive a notification asking you to review and update them
